[ARCHIVED] City of Moline Mayor Welvaert to give State of the City Address

On Monday, January 21, 2013, City of Moline Mayor Don Welvaert will give the State of the City address at 12:30 p.m. at the i-wireless Center in a joint Moline Rotary and Kiwanis meeting. This meeting is open to the public and will be held in the conference center, 1201 River Drive, Moline, IL.

Mayor Welvaert will give an overview of the achievements of 2012 as well as highlights of future projects. He will be available immediately following the address for interviews.

If any member of the public would like to participate in the optional luncheon that will precede the State of the City speech, registrations must be made for the luncheon by contacting Nick Norman at 563.349.3271 by Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 5 p.m. The cost of the luncheon is $25.00 and can be paid at the door as long as registrations were made by the deadline. The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m.
