[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Cart Program Available

Yard Waste Cart

The City of Moline offers an optional Yard Waste Cart Program to residents as another option for disposal of yard waste.

A yard waste cart will be provided by the City upon payment of a prepaid fee of $78.96 for the use of the cart.  Payments can be made in person at the Accounts and Finance Department located at 1630 8th Avenue or by calling (309)524-2070. There is an annual fee of $100.00 for disposal of yard waste that will be added to the utility bill.

Each cart will hold the contents equivalent to 3 yard waste bags and should be placed at the curb or designated location for trash pick-up on the same day as your regular collection, placed at least 3 feet from your garbage and recycling carts.  If you decide to use the cart option, you may also use yard waste bags with stickers.  Brush and limbs may be bundled outside of yard waste carts and will be collected as long as the bundles are no longer than 4 foot in length and one foot in diameter.  Bundles may only be tied with twine or string and will be picked up with no additional charge.

If you have any questions, please contact the City of Moline, Public Works, at (309)524-2400 or visit our website at www.moline.il.us.com.
