IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union recently purchased city-owned property located at 2500 River Drive to build a new corporate headquarters overlooking the Mississippi River. Total investment is estimated at $24 million. The building is approximately 90,000 SF, 4-stories tall, has Class A office space and will include a community room at the northeast corner. The facility will initially accommodate 220 employees and growth above 300 employees is expected. Although provision of off-street parking is not required in the B-2 district, it is anticipated that all parking needs will be accommodated onsite and the property is also adjacent to a MetroLINK bus route. The site plan includes space to accommodate a future building #2 to the east and building #3 to the west for future expansion.
