Project:  I-74 Illinois, from Illinois Route 5 to 7th Street in Moline
New Location of Work to Begin:  23rd Avenue, Moline

McCarthy Improvement will begin working on the outside (right) eastbound lane of 23rd Avenue from 18th Street A to 25th Street. 

This outside (right) eastbound lane will be initially closed to traffic and then the construction will move to the westbound lanes.

This work includes concrete repair and patching.  The duration of the work will be approximately 2-3 months. Completion of this work is anticipated to be on or before August 14, 2009..

The work is in preparation for a new asphalt surface.
