NEW MOLINE LIBRARY TO OPEN

The new Moline Public Library will open at 9 am on Thursday, August 31.  The new $12.5 million library, located at 3210 - 41st Street,  features meeting rooms, wireless access and cabling technology, is ADA compliance and has room for future collection growth. A coffee shop, located on the first floor, will open in September.  A grand opening celebration is planned for September 30.

The new library will be open from 9 am - 5:30 pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 2.  The library will be closed on Sunday and on Labor Day.

Beginning September 5, the library will be open from 9 am - 9 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 5:30 pm Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday.  Beginning in October, the library will be open Sundays from noon to 4 pm.
