Moline Police Increase Patrol of 7th Street

With the recent reopening
of 7th Street, and in consideration for residents'
concerns regarding speeding, the Moline Police
Department has increased patrols of the 7th Street
corridor in an effort to enhance police visibility and
deter speeding.
The Moline Police Department speed monitoring unit has
been placed on 7th Street as a visible reminder of
motorist’s speed. The unit will remain during the speed
monitoring period.
The City of Moline would like to remind motorists to
drive safely during this holiday season and resist the
temptation to speed on the new wider roadway.
