In 1972, the City of Moline constructed the Police/Fire Emergency Center. In 2007, the Police Department moved to a new location. This building houses the Fire Department’s central station including all administrative offices. The Fire Department’s portion of the building is a six bay apparatus area with offices, classrooms and living quarters located above. Administrative offices located here include the Public Safety Director, 3 Battalion Chiefs, the Fire Inspector, Training Officer and Administrative Secretary. Additionally,  a Battalion Chief who is the shift commander, one Captain, one Engineer and 3 Firefighter/Paramedics all of whom work a 24-hour shift, staff the station. Apparatus housed here include District 11, the shift command vehicle, Engine 11, Ambulance 11, the department’s three rescue boats along with various staff vehicles and equipment trailers.

Engine 11 is staffed with a Captain, an Engineer and a Firefighter/Paramedic. This vehicle is fully equipped with advanced life support equipment.
