Houses for Sale 

The City of Moline NSP2/AG program offers newly-constructed homes to potential homebuyers. Interested applicants need not be first time homebuyers. Details of the NSP2/AG program are listed below:

  • Homes are new construction and are ready to move into;
  • The sale price of the home is the appraised value, regardless of the costs to construct;
  • The sale price doesn’t reflect the Direct Buyer Assistance deduction (DBA) (up to $35,000);
  • Homebuyer signs a 10-year forgivable recapture agreement for the DBA;
  • New construction homebuyers can earn up to 120% of the area median income (AMI);
  • Homebuyers must complete the Homebuyers Counseling Class prior to the closing date (we will sign you up for class once your purchase offer is accepted);
  • Homebuyers must contribute a minimum of a $1,000 towards the purchase of the home;
  • Homebuyers must be able to obtain a mortgage through a participating lender.

In order to make an offer on any of these homes for sale, the buyer must first complete an application and be approved by the City of Moline’s NSP2/AG homebuyer program. To meet the NSP2/AG guidelines, an applicant’s household income may not exceed the Quad Cities Area Median Income (AMI). Households earning up to 120% AMI, meeting all eligibility requirements, documented lender pre-approval (dollar amount indicated in pre approval letter) and approved by the City of Moline’s NSP2 homebuyer program are able to make a purchase offer.  All offers shall be submitted by a realtor or an attorney for consideration.
