Alarms Permits & Fees

All home and business owners that use a Fire alarm system must apply for and receive a permit within 60 days of the alarm effective date. Permit application forms are available from the Customer Service Office located at City Hall Annex, 1616 - 6th Avenue, Moline, (309) 524-2070. There is a one time fee of $50.00 for the alarm permit.

When the City of Moline responds to a false fire alarm, the first three false alarms are free. There is a $150 fee for each alarm thereafter.
