What are the requirements for installing a pool?

A pool may be installed on a residential property as long as it is at least 25’ from the front property line, at least 3’ from all other property lines. The setback is measured from the edge of water or playing structure. All permanent equipment must not be more than 16 feet in height. More restrictions may apply on corner lots. Please contact the Building Division at 309.524.2370 for questions involving required fencing, permit requirements, and separation from building requirements.
