City of Moline's Going Pink for Awareness Initiative!

The City of Moline, Moline Fire Department and the Moline Police Department are joining forces with Gilda’s Club to support those who are affected by cancer.

As public employees we get to serve our community in a variety of ways, including building/repairing infrastructure, delivering the highest quality water, responding to emergency police/fire calls to ensuring that our parks are beautiful to enjoy. We want to use our public platform to show support for those who are affected by cancer and let them know we are with them in their fight against cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and during that month City of Moline employees will be wearing a special edition shirt to show our support for those who are affected by cancer.

The City of Moline will make the shirts available to the general public and every penny raised will go to Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities.

Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities provides support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer and they do it free of charge.

QC Custom Tees has designed a special edition t-shirt, available in men’s, women’s and children sizes as well as long sleeve. The shirts will be available for order through September 22nd, 2017.

The t-shirts will come in three different designs, a City of Moline logo, Moline Fire Department logo and Moline Police Department logo.

We will have a special pickup on September 29th and September 30th from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at the Moline Police Department. Those picking up will need to show their proof of purchase or have an ID.

The shirts can be ordered online by visiting:
