City of Moline Awarded $192,600 for Home Accessibility Program!

The City of Moline applied for a Home Accessibility Grant from the Illinois Housing Development Authority and was awarded $192,600 to assist elderly and/or disabled homeowners or renters! The purpose of the grant is to create a Home Accessibility Program that will assist with making accessibility modification improvements and repairs to the homes of very-low income elderly and/or disabled tenants.

The City of Moline is excited to be able to offer assistance to its residents and anticipates rolling out the Program sometime in the Spring of 2017.
