Lori Turner has lived in Moline for over 20 years. She was elected to the City Council in May of 2007 to represent Ward 5. Her current term will expire on May 1, 2019.
Alderman Turner actively supports public safety, revitalizing the downtown, encouraging family activities and curbside recycling.
Alderman Turner is active in the community to better Moline as a great place to Live, Work and Play. Additional City boards currently serving on include: Project Management Team, Keep Moline Beautiful and Moline Community Development Corporation. Attending and serving on committees at Faith Lutheran Church and Hope at the BRICK House.
Alderman Turner is a graduate of Sumner High School, Sumner, Iowa. She received Dental Assistant Training in the United States Navy, where she served for five years. She worked in the oral surgery field for an additional five years. Alderman Turner is currently a homemaker and community volunteer.
Family & Free Time
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, baking, and outdoor activities. She and her husband Mike have three children.
