38th Street Reconstruction

The 38th Street reconstruction project will take place on 38th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. 

The project will include pavement replacement with a rock base and concrete pavement, sidewalk repairs, driveway repairs, water main replacement including services, sanitary sewer replacement including services, storm sewer repairs, and other associated work.

This project is funded through local funds, including tax funds for electric and gas usage. 

This project was chosen due to deteriorating pavement condition, and the need to replace the water main and sanitary sewer.

Construction Progress: As of October 19th this project is 70% complete. Walter D. Laud is currently coring out pavement on the south half of this project starting Tuesday, October 20th and plan to pave the south east lane by Friday, October 23rd or Monday, October 26th.
